We are the Mudhounds!

What better way to spend the weekend than running and biking through the muddiest, wettest and most extreme terrain that the British countryside can throw at you?

Back in late September, Dale Allison, Thomas 'Cheeko' Lloyd, Amy Boorne and Tom Helme entered the Mud Runner Classic event at Eastnor Castle, 7 miles of arduous country tracks based on a Landrover test track (read, mud, ditches, deep water and steep banks).

Having only discovered and entered the race two weeks previously, the training regimes were tough - relentless, some might say - but it was worth it in the end with the whole team returning well under the time of 2 hours 30 mins we had estimated.

From these humble beginnings the Mudhounds were born, with more and more people joining us to take part in events such as the Mud Runner: Ice Breaker and the Wolf Run, with many more planned into 2012
